Hope your week has gotten off to a great start! I happen to be on a beach in Cancun, Mexico right now because I want to be refreshed with new ideas.
It helps to do something completely different in your routine in order for your creativity to come out. This is where I’m staying… (Boy, I’m used to roughing it so it’s a big adjustment!)
Have you ever done this?
I don’t mean that you have to escape to a foreign country and leave your cell phone with your assistant. (Which I also did… talk about drastic!)
But how about turning your phone off and going for a long drive just to THINK?
Or sitting quietly and watching the sunset? (I challenge you to do this!)
Try it this week.
Countless studies show that when you take the time to refresh and renew your mind and body, you experience greater and faster results!
And this goes for just about ANYTHING!
- Take a recovery week from working out and you’ll experience greater strength gains in the following weeks.
- Take a “cheat day” to indulge a little during your Rapid Fat Loss dieting and it’ll be just enough of a break to help you stick with your plan.
- Focus intensely on your work for 90 minutes, then take a 10 minute break. Studies reveal you’re MORE productive the more breaks you take!
So, try to rest, recharge, and recover in your work, exercise, and eating. I’m confident it’ll do you a world of good. 🙂
