It’s RESET Week at Camp MissFits. All week we’ve been doing recovery work for our muscles, joints, and digestive system. And let me tell you, this isn’t easy.
Not even for me! It’s not easy to give up sugar, or make myself REST. Or work on my posture. Or avoid gluten and dairy…and drink a bunch of greens that are good for me.
I was laughing this week as I recounted the story of MissFit Renee telling other ladies that I drink “spinach infused water.” Umm, NO! As if I’m some kind of a crazy person!
When it comes to cleaning up our bad habits, focus on PROGRESS not PERFECTION.
That’s the life lesson I want to share with you today. We tend to be ALL or NOTHING when it comes to our fitness and weight loss goals.
“Well I had a great start with breakfast but screwed up with lunch, so I’ll just blow it at dinner too and start again tomorrow.”
Don’t do this!
- If you make a poor choice, simply choose a healthy option at your next meal.
- If you missed your workout, go for a power walk to make up for it.
We will never be perfect eaters or exercisers.
If you put that expectation on yourself, you will fail every time.
Now tell me…
What’s your healthy plan for today? And if you have an “oopsies” moment, what can you do to quickly recover? I’d love to hear from you, so be sure to post your comment below!
